A picture taken at Villa Castello Torrazzetta wins an international photography award

Novembre 2019

The wedding exit toss, one of the most exciting moments of the ceremony. The one that must be in the wedding album and the scrapbook. And it is precisely that picture that was chosen by the jury of the WPJ (Wedding Photojournalist Association) to award photographer Michela Bocciarelli, creator of the shot that won the wedding-themed contest last September.
The photograph portrays Fabio and Antonella as they leave the private church of Villa Castello Torrazzetta, amid the happiness and celebrations of relatives and friends.
A black and white shot, full of emotion, framed by the charm of one of the oldest historical mansions in Oltrepo.
For Villa Castello Torrazzetta it is yet another recognition for a location that is capable of gracefully and seductively telling the most beautiful love stories.
And thanks to the photographic prize of WPJ, the prestige of Villa Castello Torrazzetta crosses the national boundaries, conquering the interest of the international public, always sensitive to the charm of Italian beauty.
This is how the villa is described and reviewed on the pages of the Wedding Photojournalist Association:
‘The charm of a splendid location for ceremonies located between crenelated towers and porticos, an ancient, richly decorated room, the imposing green nave of a centuries-old park. There are many opportunities offered by Villa Castello di Torrazzetta to welcome guests and celebrate the most important moments of life. Perfectly connected to the main transport routes and easily accessible from many areas, the villa is the ideal place for organizing wedding ceremonies and banquets. One of the best wedding locations in the area, excellent for wedding photos.’
Villa Castello Torrazzetta, the place where dreams come true.
